Dave Baker and Chris Myers are two of only a handful of physios in the country qualified in the use of diagnostic ultrasound. They use diagnostic ultrasound as a continuation of their new patient assessment to diagnose injuries. This allows them to visualise the tissue that is causing the pain. They both use ultrasound to guide joint and soft tissue injections which has been shown to be more effective than unguided injections.
